In the light of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to achieve more cooperation between companies & significant educational entities and link the higher education curricula with the scientific research to upgrade higher education according to the State’s 2030 vision. Under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. Eng. Tarek El Molla; Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Eng. Ashraf Bahaa; Enppi Chairman and CEO and Dr. Essam El Kordi; Alexandria University President signed a Cooperation Protocol between Enppi and Alexandria University at the Ministry of Petroleum premises in Cairo on December 30th, 2019 with the presence of top officials from both sides. 

This protocol is vital part of Enppi’s positive role towards sustainable development & social responsibility through training Alexandria University students in addition to provide them with practical experience and develop the necessary skills for local and international labor market, scientific research support and higher education progress. 

The cooperation protocol includes providing distinguished and effective training opportunities to improve the skills of Enppi and oil & gas sector employees through setting curricula, certification programs and accredited diplomas as well as post-graduate studies programs to award scientific degrees i.e; Master and Ph.D. 

After the protocol signature, Eng. Tarek El Molla; Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources held a meeting with the concerned parties to discuss the importance of the joint work and the future cooperation plans to overcome obstacles and follow-up the protocol outputs. During the meeting, Eng. Tarek El-Molla; Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources asserted the Petroleum Sector keenness to consolidate cooperation with the scientific & academic entities and exchange experience to link the practical side with the academic one.

Eng. Tarek El Molla pointed out that these protocols contributes to maximize the benefit of both parties scientific and practical experience in holding mutual training programs & courses in addition to provide specialized technical training services to the university students and training opportunities in companies according to testing standards. Moreover, Eng. Tarek El Molla praised Enppi distinguished role in this field. 

Eng. Ashraf Bahaa; Chairman and CEO expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Eng. Tarek El Molla; Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for his support. Moreover, Eng. Bahaa emphasized that Enppi seeks to build qualified young cadres to fit the labor market. Consequently, this enables them to promote a vital industry such as, oil and gas industry. He expressed his aspiration that this protocol will be successful and fruitful one contributing to achieving the expectations and asserted that Enppi is ready to provide the required facilities and support to fulfill these protocols.
