The oily water treatment system will be extended to the existing oily water treatment system by adding additional train. The oily water system will consist of API separator followed by a floatation unit with chemical injection and finally biological treatment. With capacity of 100 m3/hr. for API& DAF however the biological is designed to cover 200 m3/hr. The system is designed to treat the oily water for agriculture specification.
The recovered oil shall be transferred to a new recovered oil tank that will be integrated with the existing two recovered oil tanks. System’s main components are:
- API separator includes (sludge pit and treated water compartment as well as recovered oil pit and its related transfer pumps)
- Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) unit including (Air saturation vessel, circulation pumps, Coagulation Basin with its accessories, Flocculation Basin with its accessories, DAF chemical injection systems, etc..)
- Biological Treatment Unit including (Aeration Tank and air diffusers, Air blowers, Trickling filter, clarifier, pumps, etc..)
- Effluent carbon filter, chemical injection system.
- Drying Beds
