The UN Global Compact Country Network Egypt (UNGCCE) represents the local arm of the UNGC’s global movement—bridging international standards with Egypt’s sustainability priorities through an independently governed entity recognized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The UN Global Compact as the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, offers a unique platform for companies committed to responsible business conduct. It is the only global initiative that helps businesses embed universal principles into their operations – principles that fall under four core areas: Human Rights, Labour, Environment, and Anti-Corruption.

Enppi Participation in UNGC
By joining the UN Global Compact, Enppi is now part of a global movement of over 25,000 companies in 160+ countries, leading the way in aligning business strategy with sustainability and long-term value creation.
By joining the UN Global Compact Network Egypt, ENPPI affirms its dedication to the Ten Principles in human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption — and sets the stage for stronger climate action, responsible supply chains, and enhanced sustainability reporting aligned with global standards.

The Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) provide a holistic framework for companies to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace, marketplace and community and drive positive outcomes for society and business.
Launched in 2010 by UN Women and UN Global Compact, the WEPs are informed by international labour and human rights standards and grounded in the recognition that businesses have a stake in, and a responsibility for, gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The seven Principles constitute a primary vehicle for corporate delivery on gender equality dimensions of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals. The WEPs represent a powerful platform to share lessons learned on how gender equality links to their bottom line; how to make progress in this area; and how to track results.
Enppi Signatory to WEP’s
By signing to WEPS’s, Enppi is adopting the WEPs by investing in our commitment to gender equality, our business and our people. We joined a global network of companies with similar values and gain access to the tools, resources and learning programmes to drive WEPs implementation.
