Zohr Development Project – Phase I

Design, supply and install a power plant of N. 4 Gas Turbine Generators (N+1 Configuration) operating in island mode. The emergency power will be guaranteed by N. 6 Diesel Generation system (EDG) located adjacent to each Substations and have a sufficient fuel storage capacity for at least 8 hours full load operation without intervention.
An electrical link between Zohr Electrical system and El-Gamil Electrical System will be performed and shall serve as a bidirectional link upon failure of main and emergency power generation units in one of the two plants with no parallel operation between the generation systems of the two plants, since this link shall operates only during emergency operation.
